The problem with going to a school in a big city like new york is that your chances of getting in are very slim. Like this article notes, 4500 apply and only 400 lucky people will be accepted. I would think that if you were applying to a school such as this you should make sure you also apply to some less competitive schools elsewhere so you don&#039;t find yourself holding a non-acceptance letter with nowhere to go as a backup. I&#039;m not trying to be negitive here just real, you may get in, that is a distinct possibility but just have a backup just in case. Also make sure you qualify!<br /><br />-chris

This school sounds amazing, but the tuition seems a bit steep. I&#039;m on the cusp of choosing a school that is quality, comfortable, and cost effective but it seems you can&#039;t get around that high tuition thing. Are there any schools around the $12,000 mark that maintain a prestigious (because when you go to get a job they do take into account what school you graduated from) name and education without the bloated costs? I may be lowballing this figure, I have no idea what the average law school costs either. Any advice would be great!
